Ban Phe, Thailand

 Thailand, Ban PheBan Phe is a sleepy and quaint fishing village 180 km south of Bangkok, and perfectly situated along the beautiful beaches of the Gulf of Thailand. The climate in Ban Phe is very tropical-like, with three distinct seasons: Hot from March through May, Rainy from June through October, and Cool from November through February. The TEFL International School in Ban Phe is located in a unique, all-purpose facility in this beautiful and quaint village along the beaches of the Gulf of Thailand.

Ban Phe, Thailand - Accommodation

TEFL International is able to provide comfortable, well-equipped accommodation for teacher trainees at free of cost. (Accommodation is sharing basis two trainees per room basis)

Accommodation in Ban Phe consists of a private air-conditioned room with private bathroom in a beautiful hotel building adjacent to the school, which houses all the course trainees. The hotel is located within very easy access to the beach, the town center, a variety of excellent restaurants and some great shopping areas! The hotel offers everything – a restaurant, internet café, lounge area with television and video player, plus laundry and cleaning services.

Please be assured that any special requests or requirements regarding accommodation will be taken into account, and TEFL International will make every effort to honor such requests.


Visa and Passport Information:

All visitors to Thailand are required to carry a passport valid for at least six months after arrival date.

Visitors to Thailand from the United Kingdom, North America, Australia and New Zealand can stay in Thailand for a maximum of 30 days without a visa, and this can be extended. Citizens from all other countries should contact their local consulate to obtain current travel regulations.

Insurance issues:

It is not uncommon for people who choose to live in a foreign country to have difficulties regarding health in the initial stages while their bodies are adapting to a new climate, diet, and way of life. It is therefore strongly recommended that all teachers purchase travelers/health insurance for a minimum of 3 months to cover emergencies. Health care is extremely cheap in Thailand relative to most Western countries. Health care in Thailand also meets a relatively high standard. Basic services such as medication and doctor visits are very inexpensive. Basic Thai Health insurance is obtainable through various organizations such as BUPA or AIA.

Vaccinations & Immunization requirements:

No Vaccinations & Immunization are required for Thailand. However, you can purchase Malaria Pills.
