Learn Modern Standard Arabic, the variety of Arabic used in formal and written contexts such as political speeches, newspapers, and novels across all Arab countries.
Egyptian Arabic is the most widely understood spoken variety of Arabic, thanks in no small part to the large population of Egypt and the influential and hugely popular Egyptian drama and pop culture.
INTENSIVE (120 hours / 6 weeks)

The 6-week Intensive Arabic program offers classes focused on speaking, listening, reading, writing, and grammar. Each class is taught by extremely experienced teachers. The maximum class size is 8 students with a minimum age requirement of 16. Activities include sightseeing trips, entertainment, and “Go Egyptian” language activities. Language companions will help you practice Arabic outside of the classroom and act as your cultural inside-man. The intensive courses are offered six times a year, so you can register any time. Classes are from Sunday to Thursday, for 20 hours a week, totaling 120 contact hours. This course is equivalent to a full year of Arabic courses (6 – 8 credits) in most US universities, and 10 European credits (10 ECTS).
SEMI-INTENSIVE (60 hours / 4 weeks)

In this shortened version of the Intensive Program, you will study reading, writing, listening, and speaking. This program allows more free time to experience the culture outside the classroom. Classes are from Sunday to Thursday, for 15 hours a week for four weeks, totaling 60 contact hours. Activities include sightseeing trips, entertainment, and “Go Egyptian” language activities. Language companions will help you practice Arabic outside of the classroom and act as your cultural inside-man. A new session starts every month, so you can register any time of the year. This course is equivalent to a single course (3 – 4 credits) in most US universities and 5 European credits (5 ECTS).
